Issue
- How do I change my account password while in the office or at a remote location (i.e not in office)?
- How do I update an expired password?
Resolution
If you are in the office, out of the office, or using a Mac:
Note: If you're locked out and don't have access to Outlook on the Web, please reach out to Tech Desk via email or call us at 978-323-4040.
- Open up a web browser and navigate to outlook.roadscholar.org or office.com in the address bar by copy and pasting from here.
- Enter your Road Scholar email address (firstname.lastname@roadscholar.org) and click next
- When prompted to enter your password, choose the option Forgot My Password
- You will be redirected to a page prompting you to verify your account email address and you will be asked to enter a set of characters presented on the page, to verify that you are not a robot. Once you have verified the information click Next to proceed to the next verification step.
- You will then be prompted to choose a method by which you will receive a confirmation code. You can choose to receive the code at your recovery phone number (either by text or call) and/or your recovery email address. Select the option that best suites you and proceed to receive a verification code via the method you choose.
- When prompted, enter the verification code you receive in the provided field and click Next
- After completing the verification steps you will be prompted to choose a new password for your account, and to re-enter the new password again to confirm they match
- Once you have entered your new password information, click Finish to complete the password change.
- You will then be redirected to a page confirming that your password has been reset. You can now close the browser window.
- To avoid any issues you will need to save anything you need to and Get a New Citrix Session as well.
- Log back in.
