Problem
I would like to access Citrix through my internet browser.
I want to use the web version of Citrix
Resolution
In your web browser, Navigate to
roadscholar.cloud.com
You will reach the standard Road Scholar SSO login page. Login with your RS Email address and Password, and you may even be challenged with a Duo Push
You will be asked if you want to Detect Citrix Workspace or Use your Web Browser (seen Below)
Your experience differs greatly depending on which you select, so please continue below.
Detect Workspace Selection
You will likely receive the following window:
Click "Open Citrix Workspace Launcher" at the top. This will essentially link the page with your Workspace app. Apps will open in separate windows, as you are likely used to. You can launch apps using either the Citrix Workspace app, or the browser window.
You will be shown your list of available apps. The view will be strikingly similar to the Workspace App.
Use Web Browser Selection
You will be shown your list of available apps. The view will be strikingly similar to the Workspace App.
Any/All citrix apps you open will load in a
single browser tab
. No installation of Citrix is required.
Toggling between "Use Web Browser" and "Detect Workspace"
In case you wish to change your mind later
Click on the Grey circle with your last inital at the top right hand corner of the window
Select Account Settings
Click Advanced
Click either the "Use Web Browser" or "Use Citrix Workspace App" buttons to change your choice
